AXCR2025 will kick off with a ceremonial start in Pattaya, located on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand. From there, teams will embark on a grueling 2,500 km journey northward through Thailand, ultimately returning to the finish line in Pattaya. This year marks the event’s milestone 30th anniversary, making it a larger-scale rally than usual, held over nine days from August 8 to August 16.

A key feature of the "Tras Power135 TRD HILUX" is its body, made from natural fiber composite material (natural fiber prepreg made of flax) developed by Tras. This year’s vehicle has a design that showcases the raw texture and color of the natural materials, with a grass-like appearance that is sure to draw attention. The natural fibers used are ampliTex™ and powerRibs™ from Swiss company Bcomp. The vehicle is based on the 2025 Australian-spec Hilux GR Sport. The "Tras Power135 TRD HILUX" aims for an even higher ranking with this more powerful version than last year!
Chemical products used throughout the nine-day rally will once again be sponsored by WÜRTH. WÜRTH supports the racing team with a wide range of chemical products to ensure efficient and effective vehicle performance. Vehicles undergo thorough maintenance every day in preparation for each rally leg.
Natural Fiber from Swiss Company Bcomp
The “Tras Power135 TRD HILUX” vehicle uses Bcomp’s natural fiber prepreg made of flax. Tras and Bcomp have formed a partnership to actively promote the use of natural fiber products in Asia. The realization of a Hilux with a natural fiber body was made possible through Tras’s technical expertise and close communication with Bcomp throughout the R&D process. Our team received a special award for the use of sustainable natural fiber material in the T1D class at AXCR2022 and has since completed the grueling AXCR rally each year to further test and validate the practicality of natural fiber body vehicles. Compared to carbon fiber parts, parts made with Bcomp’s flax-based ampliTex™ and powerRibs™ reduce CO2 emissions by up to 85% from production to disposal.
Based on experience up to 2024, Tras has pursued even greater quality and performance in its natural fiber body and will once again participate in AXCR2025 as the "Tras Power135 TRD HILUX" team!
